The Buffalo 10oz .999 Silver Bar is a SilverTowne Mint Minted Bullion Product. Located in Winchester, Indiana, The SilverTowne Mint has been manufacturing quality Silver Bullion produced with the Highest Quality Standards since 1973.
America’s fabled Buffalo Nickel features arguably the most authentic western-themed images in the nation’s numismatic history. Designed by Winona, Minnesota native James Earle Fraser, it was first released in 1913 and circulated until 1938 witnessing World War I, the Roaring ’20s, and the Depression Era ’30s. Its rugged depiction of an American Bison on the reverse and a portrait of a stoic Native American on the obverse has been a collector favorite — so much so that when the United States Mint began issuing $50 gold coin in 2006 it chose Fraser’s design!
Now you can secure this epic design recreated on a silver bar struck in ten full ounces of highly pure 99.9% fine silver! Measuring approximately 3.5" x 2" (91 mm x 47mm), this hefty silver slab also comes exactly as it left the mint with crisp images and razor-sharp details. Plus, it’s been struck in the good old U.S. of A. from shimmering American silver.
When you hold this incredible collectible in your hands you’ll notice the design that looks as if an enlarged Buffalo Nickel was pressed into the top half of the bar to create a stunning vertical display. It’s also been engraved with the bar’s silver weigh and purity. Flip it over and you’ll see the famous Buffalo design superimposed over a crisscross waffle pattern.
